Ian worked in London for 6 years specialising mainly in recruitment for Investment Bank's and Hedge Funds. After the GFC he went travelling for 2 years and once finally arriving in Australia Ian started working with his friend Sean Collins at Collins Acquisitions. Initially assisting Sean in the sale of Child Care Centers before opening a new division for CA specialising in the dental industry. "Selling a long term practice is both a critical and important financial consideration, and yet one entwined in emotion. Many practitioners sadly leave this selling process consideration until too late in their careers One needs to be fully aware of the various options available in selling your practice; ranging from private sale to another outside practitioner or group, through to “management buyout” by an existing associate within the practice, or indeed one of many possible corporate entities or other groups.
